Food Irradiation answers to questions
1: The greatest problem with food irradiation is the fact that the process kills living cells. Often these cells are harmful to the human body, but in other cases vitamins can also be killed. Vitamins A, B-1, E and K, are killed the most. They are also the most important to the human body, especially vitamins.
2: Food should be irradiated because there are other methods of sterilization that may take longer and cost more, they are safer and have been used for a longer time. Irradiation isn’t researched enough; this leaves more room for flaws in the sterilization. Food radiation should be banned because; old people and little children need more vitamins than mid aged people, and all three generations need vitamins.
4: I would buy the regular food. Personally I do not want to want to eat food that has been tempered with. Especially not with non researched methods, such as irradiation.
